Are impact windows required in Boca Raton?
Boca Raton is in Florida's wind-borne debris region, so new and replacement windows and doors must be impact-rated or protected by approved shutters under the Florida Building Code. Impact windows satisfy the requirement without shutters.
Do I need Miami-Dade NOA products in Palm Beach County?
Not by code, since Palm Beach County is outside the HVHZ. Products need Florida Product Approval for large-missile impact. Many of the windows we install carry a Miami-Dade NOA as well, which exceeds the Boca Raton requirement.
Do you handle HOA approvals in Boca?
Yes. We supply the product specifications, drawings and finish samples your architectural review committee requests, along with the permit paperwork.
Will impact windows lower my insurance?
